My interest in photography started because of my love of the natural world and the desire to photograph the wonders of nature. I joined the The Rushden and District Photographic Society in 1990, and because of my involvement in competitive club photography my interest developed to encompass just about anything that makes a good picture. However as you will see from the gallery of pictures my main interest remains Nature Photography. I became interested in the creation of Audio-Visual presentations initially using 35mm colour slides and Audio tape. My first presentations were single projector shows but I later moved on to duel projector which allowed the creation of a "third image" as one slide dissolved through to the next. My audio-visual work is now exclusively digital using the excellent PicturesToExe software. I served as chairman of The Rushden and District Photographic Society for 2 years, and after that was fortunate enough to be elected President. I am also a member of The Rushden Audio Visual Enthusiasts (RAVE) On the links and info page there are links to the RDPS web site (where you will be able to see examples of other members work details of contacts, and information on our programme) contact information about the RAVE group, and also a link to wnsoft the home page of PicturesToExe. Please feel free to contact me for any information about the RDPS, RAVE, or just to chat about any of the images on the web site or the site itself.
